This How.com.vn will show you how to make phone calls from your PC. You can only make phone calls from your PC if you have an Android phone. If you do not have an Android phone, you can still dial landlines and cell phones using Skype or Google Voice.

Calling From an Android
Ensure that you have the "Your Phone Companion" app installed on your Android smartphone. If you have a Surface Duo or a Samsung phone, you likely already have the app. If you do not have the app, you can easily get the app with a few steps:- Open the Your Phone app on your PC. This app has a blue gradient of a phone.
- Sign in with your Microsoft account.
- Choose whether you have an iPhone or Android.
- Enter your phone number.
- Follow the link to download the app.
Enable the "Link to PC" toggle from the quick panel. If you do not see the toggle, then tap the triple dots, choose "Button order", drag the toggle down, and choose "Done". Then tap on the toggle.- The first time you use this toggle, you will have to sign in with your Microsoft account. You can do so by either scanning a QR code on your PC or by manually entering in your account details.

Connect your phone to your PC via Bluetooth. Open Bluetooth settings on your phone and PC, choose "Add a device", select your phone on your PC's discovered devices list (or your PC on your phone's list), and follow the instructions to pair the devices together.- 4Open the Your Phone app on your PC. Select "Calls".
- 5Dial a phone number. Make sure that your phone is within Bluetooth range.
- 6Select the "Call" button. This will place the call to the number you dialed.
- Depending on your phone model and carrier, you may be able to use Wi-Fi to make phone calls from your PC. If this is the case, then ensure that Wi-Fi calling is enabled.

Calling Using Skype
Open Skype. This app has an S on a blue lemon background.- If you are not signed in, follow the prompts to sign in or create a Microsoft account.
Select the dialer. This is next to the contact search box.
Ensure that you have enough Skype credits or a Skype subscription. You need credits or a subscription to make calls using Skype. If you have Microsoft 365, you already get 60 minutes of unlimited calling to phones per month. If you do not, you can purchase Skype credits by clicking on "Get credits".
Dial a phone number. Note that you cannot make calls to emergency services or other services that you would get on a traditional phone (like 611 or 411).
Tap the blue phone to call. This will place the phone call over Skype. This will use your Skype minutes.Advertisement

Calling Using Google Voice
Go to https://voice.google.com/. If you are not signed in, follow the prompts to set up a Google Voice account. You will need to sign in and/or create a Google account and verify your phone number before you can use Google Voice. You may even need to get a Google Voice number.
Locate the dialer on the right-side of the screen. This is where you can make phone calls.
Dial a phone number. Note that you cannot make calls to emergency services or other services that you would get on a traditional phone (like 611 or 411).
Tap the green phone to call. This will place the phone call over Google Voice. If the call is to the United States or Canada, the call will be free of charge. Otherwise, you will need to get credits to complete your phone call.Advertisement
