Grey or Gray?

edit

He is referred-to as 'Gray' in the article, but the title spells it as 'Grey'. I don't know how to alter this on the Edit page. Valetude (talk) 14:15, 29 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

We obviously have conflicting sources here. The Sunday Times has the spelling "Grey" while the other sources seem to have the spelling "Gray" (some of the online sources don't seem to be accessible any more, though). So both spellings have some backing. As to the disambig pages, we currently have him only in Edward Grey, not in Edward Gray. That's why, for the sake of consistency, I would plead to use the spelling "Grey" throughout this article here and add a note that some sources have the spelling "Gray". --Proofreader (talk) 23:53, 15 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
