Shouldn't he be called a German pianist, since he was born in Germany?
editThis comment originally appeared anonymously on the main page. I would like to say that being born somewhere does not affect your nationality, or even your citizenship. Otherwise, for example, people born at sea would have to be classified as stateless. Or, as Shaw put it, being born in a stable does not make you an ass. Rconroy (talk) 10:45, 15 April 2010 (UTC)
