Rooks has made a few edits here and there mainly consisting of updates of information such as: the new region teams of 5-AAAAA on the Walton High School page, new website that Arctic Cat now uses on the Arctic Cat page, and others.
Rooks is also currently working on completely redoing the Arctic Cat page.
I have grown up around computers and still feel I have a leg up on most users. I know both Windows and Macintosh software and can use both pretty well. Wikipedia is new to me but I feel that I'm catching on quick. Coding is something I have not had a lot of practice with yet but now that I am in the Wikipedia community I feel that I will learn quickly, either by choice or by force.

Wikipedia is great community to display information and formats itself to the point where only those truly interested in a topic would go through the trouble of editing a page, for the most part. Upon learning the basics of coding, I was able to make little changes to articles I had seen needed editing. If I had no previous experience with Wikipedia I would not have understood how to make such changes. This is what I consider Wikipedia's first wall of defense. The second wall, third wall, and so on come from other users who can flag different articles for deletion, investigation, etc. which is another reason Wikipedia has been successful in providing mostly correct information to internet surfers for a long time. Many high school teachers when I was growing up would not let students use Wikipedia to search for information as it was seen as an "unreliable" source and this is what I thought of the website for some time. However, upon entering into the Wikipedia community I noticed the strict rules and regulations every article had to follow and the previously mentioned walls of defense. All in all, I've come to realize that Wikipedia is not only reputable but an easy way to find and learn information.
