Benedikt Höwedes

German association football player

Benedikt Höwedes (born 29 February 1988 in Haltern) is a German association football defender. He played for FC Schalke 04 and captained the team for six years. He also represented the Germany national football team. He represented Germany in the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
