West Kazakhstan Province or West Kazakhstan Region (Kazakh: Батыс Қазақстан облысы, Russian: Западно-Казахстанская область) is a region in the west of Kazakhstan. The capital is the city of Oral. As of 2023, the population of region is 688,091.[1]
There are only two cities in this region: Oral and Aksay.
In Soviet times, region was called the Ural region (Russian: Уральская область).
